The Head of Sixth Form, Miss Shaw-Kew, gave a presentation to year 12 students and their parents/guardians about applying to university and the support that is available at Mascalls Academy to students who are interested in progressing to Higher Education after they have completed their A levels.

A presentation on preparing to apply to universities, was given to staff and year 13 students who attend Schools within the Leigh Academies Trust recently. The slides on the three subjects that were covered in that presentation, are shown below.

The Careerometer widget provides access to a selection of headline data relating to pay, weekly hours of work and future employment prospects.
The data are organised by occupation: simply type in the title of the job you are interested in and the widget provides a series of options from which you can select the most relevant to you.
